74 reps. pretty happy with that for a first try. the 165 takes a certain amount of time to recover from for each rep about 10 seconds so i think the only way i can go faster is to leave myself more time to hit the 165.
Friday: rest again.
weird to rest so much, rested monday, wednesday and friday this week. definitely agree though that it is game time. just because the top 20 competitors can train through the competition doesn't mean it is smart or effective. they are not trying to peak now. if i am going to reach my goal i need to treat this 5 week block as my "season". sometimes you just need some outside advice to make you see the light. weird how that coaching thing is helpful.
